Posted By Hazel Harvey Joe, Because of the different nature of assessment of the NVQ it is not possible to give an exact equation of the NVQ level 4. However, as qualifications like the NEBOSH level 4 Diploma meet the underpinning knowledge requirements for the national standards on which the NVQ is based it would be fair to say that it would be the equivalent of this. As this is level 4 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) this is deemed to be the equivalent of a Higher Education Diploma in the university system.
