If they are serious about doing their bit for the environment and sell on their crushed cans there are markets out there willing to buy. A significantly bigger bit of kit will be necesary if you want to reduce the volume significantly. If memory serves, Orwak Linley make a range of "compactors" for this type of work - be warned thought they are not cheap.
