Posted By Dave Randles Does anybody know of where I can source a list (nothing more - just a list!) of current UK H&S legislation? Similarly, the same would be handy for British, European and International Standards. Thanks Dave

Posted By Sean Fraser My response to this is always the same - use the HSE website to navigate by topic, then cull the applicable legislation from the free leaflets they provide. Reasoning is that I work in manufacturing (and previously in industrial services), but you could work in construction - there may be common legislation but there will be others that might be specific to your field that I know nothing about and hence my list would not be "complete" for you. The HSE have now set up quicklinks that can be accessed either by topic or industry and I find them quite effective for quick look ups. http://www.hse.gov.uk/ Also, legislation changes and you need to keep up to date with it - if you get used to taking the information from here then you can use the "Whats New" function to guide you on upcoming topics that you can assess for relevancy in your field of operations and be prepared for it when it arrives, rather than find yourself playing catch up and the risk that that may pose to your organisation in many different ways.

Posted By Kevin West www.whatrisk.com contain lots of information and the facility to "ask dennis" a question. The web site also has a link to "Responseline news" which keeps you up to date with the latest legislation and interpretation. This service is provided free by National Britannia. I hope this helps.
