Posted By Frederick George Robotham I am doing some research into leadership generally but particularly applied to safety management. It would be appreciated if you could give me some leads on sources of practical information on leadership, texts / articles / publications etc. I would be particularly interested to get some leads about military leadership concepts.A few years ago I worked with a graduate of the U.S. West Point Military Academy and he was a fantastic leader. Regards, George Robotham Brisbane Australia

Posted By Delwynne I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with the Keil Centre, who are a group of occupational psycologists (apologies for the spelling). They have done alot of research into safety management and leadership. You may wish to consider contacting them. And just in case anyone thought I was being sarcastic, it really was a pleasure to deal with them!

Posted By Merv Newman Try to google the name Scot Geller. He has written lots of articles on how to lead and how to get the best out of your people. He is one of the leading lights of the Behavioural Safety movement

Posted By John Harratt Frederick, I have some powerpoint presentations on the subject of leadership, although not directly linked to Health and Safety they are of a military nature and were used to inspire hopeful young NCOs when I was serving, if you think they may be of use e-mail me.
