Posted By Peter MacDonald I don't think there is any specific legislation stopping it but a second person acting as a spotter or banksman would not be over the top. Would also depend on the activity being carried out in the lift. There's a deadman switch on the body of the lift so it can be operated from the ground if anything was to happen to the operator. Pete
