Posted By Richa Does anyone have any information on whether there is any conclusive evidence for cancer caused by emission of radio waves from radio sets?

Posted By Alec Wood There is no conclusive evidence of such effect. Research is being done by various parties into the effects of microwave radiation, particularly that used by cellphones, and some research is being done into the effects of 50Hz fields from pylons etc, but almost nothing for the entire radio spectrum in between. Posted By John Murgatroyd http://www.physics.isu.edu/radinf/Source.htm www.osha.gov/SLTC/radiat..._lectures/introrfr_1.ppt Lets see...for over 100 years the species has been blasting em radiation into itself. From a few kilohertz to many tens of gigahertz. Looking at those exposed to em radiation has shown no dramatic increase in anything...except grey hair. I've been exposed to em radiation from 10 years of age 'til now (54)...from 1.8 mhz to 10 gigahertz. I'm still alive...I'll let you know in another 6 years if I get to be 60...mind you, since I'm playing with argon-ion lasers now, things may change !
