Does anybody have an electronic copy of the ACOP that they would not mind sharing. Your assistance is much appreciated.

I'm not sure IOSH should be associated with people avoiding paying for copyright documents. Why not join HSE Direct. It's very reasonable.

Jack,

Please be assured, I spend hundreds of pounds each year purchasing documents from various sources.

This IOSH site is aimed at safety professionals trying to help each other out; maybe you should try it rather than just writing pointless threads!

I'm with Jack on this.
Helping is one thing, helping to steal property (copyright) is another.

Its not as though HSE documents are expensive.

Dear Colleagues,

You are reminded about the law of copyright and how it applies to documents requested on these forums. IOSH is not responsible for copyright belonging to outside organisations and wishes to remind you about paragraph one of the Acceptable Use Guidelines which can be accesssed via this page.

The responsibility for compliance lies with the person who provides information to another, and they must ensure that they have permission to duplicate material and pass it to a third party.

As well as there being many outlets for purchasing documents, individuals can subscribe to organisations such as Barbour or Technical Indexes.

Martin Bessant,
