Posted By Mickey Hanley Question 1: Windows, Doors & Conservatory Risk Assessment I am in the process of updating a very dusty safety statement. The main activities involved are as follows: - assembly of frames and glass unit (no manufacturing) withing the factory. - fitting of uPVC windows and doors - complete construction of conservatories. If anyone could provide me with similar information / websites which I could possibly use as a hazard checklist. Question 2: Risk Assessment Process?? I find my main block is the writing up the risk assessment from my inspections. I would value your opinion or any suggestions. My approach to this is a step by step task / activity process to identify the hazards and risks. My concern with this is it is proving very time consuming and alot of detail for the end user. I understand everyones approach is individual to them but I would really value your opinion or any other approaches to dealing with different tasks and areas within the risk assessment. Hope you can help! Thanks
