Posted By colin Anyone able to enlighten me on this ?
Proposed changes from 01/07/2005 will mean that successful completion of the revised NGC will carry the automatic award of the new TechIOSH qualification
Anyone know anything about this ? cant find info on nebosh site. Found it on the woodland grange site
I'm currently studying the Nebosh gen cert, exam in june 2005, will this TechIOSH apply for me on successful completion ?
Thanx in advance
Colin

Posted By Hazel Harvey Colin, A couple of things to bear in mind. There will be no automatic entry to TechIOSH you will also have to demonstrate at least 5 years experience in a role in health and safety (not necessarily a full-time role). All the IOSH membership changes are still subject to Privy Council approval. As yet no qualifications have been accredited to meet the TechIOSH requirements although it could be expected that the NEBOSH Cert. would fulfil the requirements
