Posted By patrick o brien We have recently identified levels of Radon above those specified as 'Threhold Levels' in some of our centres. Are there any easy methods of bringing the levels down, they are up to 400 becquerels which is about twice the threshold level.

Posted By Jim Gostick Patrick, not certain on the type of premises or operation you may have - but initially 'dilution ventilation' is the starting point. However this may bring additional environmental control measures into place depending on where the gas is ventilated and at what quantity.

Posted By John Donaldson Have a look at the NRPB website http://www.nrpb.org/ Follow the Radon links there are some solutions given including dilution ventilation and also a link to BRE who would be able to give more specialist advice.
