This is only a 4 day course. The Certificate if usually 10 days and has a far more difficult exam at the end. The Gen Cert is the minimum level of qualification at which you may get a job as a H&S Officer/Advisor.

You are unlikely to get a job with a Managing Safety Certificate. Local safety rep/manager in a larger company, maybe, but with the support of a more experienced formal company safety manager.

Managing Safely is a short course designed to 'introduce' managers to their H&S Responsibilities.

Nebosh Cert is designed to help Managers and supervisors to undertake their H&S duties it is not bla bla see the posting memberships cont and Training on the careers site!

I wish it was! I would have saved myself from ageing at least 5 years.... I would imagine you get a nice colourful certificate from the IOSH cert though!
