Posted By Ron Hunter One of our office blocks has suffered slight water damage due to a leaking flat roof. Rather than the black mould I would (in my very limited experience) have expected to encounter, I'm seeing significant clusters of a very pure white growth of very soft stranded material which does not appear to have any significant smell. This growth is appearing at those areas where emulsion paint and plaster have been water damaged. Obviously, it will be cleaned up, but does anyone out there have any knowledge as to what this material is?
