I wish to offer refresher H&S training to managers of low risk activities using e-learning. Does anyone out there use this type of training? If so could you give some feedback on the packages you use or better still give me names of contacts that I can approach.
Thank You in advance

Hi there
I'd recommend www.atfsolutions.com
they do a H&S Essentials induction / refresher course which is quite good.
They also do more in depth modules on each topic, some of which are promoted by Fire Services and NHS trusts etc
They are very cost effective and you can try before you buy! Terry breslin is the guy there
Alternatively, if you wish to recommend a small business assistance package, try www.healthandsafetyclick.net - they also offer the ATF solution as well as access to expert consultants by email, news and legislation alerts and a comprehensive online knowledge centre.
Haev you tried www.officesafety.co.uk or www.safetylearning.co.uk - they might help too, although have had less dealings with them
There are other options, but most of them are aimed at larger or more specialised busineses, and charge more to boot.
Let me know more if you need more information, or want a further recommendation.
Chris

Sophia,
You might want to try a company called Cardinus, we use them at the moment for DSE training/assessment and find them very useful. They also offer many other courses, of which one of them is H&S for Line managers. Not only does it offer the training but has a management system that delivers the training and monitors when it's completed and candidates have passed, so you know how well staff are doing from when they start. The system can be hosted so available from a PC’s via the Internet.
Email me it you want to know more or call if you want to discuss in detail
Cheers Paul
