Posted By Diana Vilan I am looking for an employee perception survey web based tool, validated, suitable for a coorporate environment and with benchmarking possibilities of the results. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks Diana

Posted By George Wedgwood Try the HSE Climate Survey software tool - it's quite large but I have seen it successfullky used so long as it's followed through. Look at http://www.hse.gov.uk/research/rrhtm/rr042.htm George

Posted By Roger Hi Diana The HSE Tool is very onerous and doesn't turn people on at all - 70 odd questions and a number of them are quite similar and therefore they confuse individuals leading to inconsistent results. You might want to try the search facility on this forum, put in 'questionnaire' and that should throw up a few threads on similar requests. Failing that start a thread/request to contact a Ken Lucas, I believe he uses this forum regulalrly - he produced a one pager that I have used and it is really excellent. Regards Roger

Posted By Ian Waldram Have a look at the IOSH guidance on Culture - available by clicking on the 'technical information' banner. In particular I recommend the Respect for People toolbox - I'm not aware that it's validated outside the Construction sector, but it seems to be applicable. It's flexible and well-tested within construction.

Posted By Sylvia Tyler Used the HSE culture a couple of years back -it did identify "communication" problem(which I already knew) but anlaysing data etc was not simple, the time spent installing and analysing was not commensurate to the quality of the findings. I would recommend you prepare your own survey, keep it simple and the results will be meaningful to your organisation. Hope this helps. Sylvia

Posted By Roger I have received a number of emails asking me for a copy of the questionnaire I refer to in my previous posting - unfortunately it is not mine to pass on, you know intelectual property rights etc. Roger
