Posted By Ian Clarke I'm the H&S manager of a publishing company and have a query for anyone who may be able to help with regard to company counsellors - not EAP's services but an actual counselling service. I'm looking into the cost (monthly service charge cost and individual session costs) and for anyone who helps look after their company counselling service I would be very grateful if someone could let me know how much they pay - you may not want it displayed on this forum site, so anyone who can help can get in touch with me on ian.clarke@oxon.blackwellpublishing.com Cheers all Ian

Posted By Liz Johnston Ian, We arrange counselling (through our OH unit) with an external company who uses a number of trained counsellors depending on the need. We pay £40 per session (approx 45mins with the counsellor) and usually limit this (except in certain circumstances to six sessions. Given that we have over 10,000 employees it is used reasonably well and does appear effective from the monitoring we have done. Liz
