We use a fork-lift truck on occasion in a public area and am needing guidance on the sort of control measures that need to be put in place to safegaurd the health and safety of the public. I am looking into signs/coning off etc.
Any help please.

Hello Ian,
In my dealings with warehouse safety inspections i have recently come across a great new innovation whereby there is a built-in speed rescrictor/halter within the FLT. When it approaches designated areas the driver speed is overridden as well as suddern turning, incline detection, moving with raised loads etc.
