Could anyone provide me with copies of generic risk assessments that I can use as a starting point for more specific risk assessments concerning FLT's, rider operated pallet trucks and manually operated pallet trucks etc?

Thanking you in anticipation of any assistance.

Cheers

Steve

Thought I had one from a past life, but from memory should include:

CE markings and Cert if new Truck
Handbooks/driver instructions
Key control
Designated parking areas
Statutory Inspections
Maintenance
Inspection of any attachments
Certificated Drivers
Drivers Authorised by Company
Pre use inspections
General conditions of roadways, roadmarkings, one way systems etc
Warning signage
Segregation
Training on use of attachments
Charging/fueling arrangements
Procedure for recording/repairing faults
Safe Working Loads
Drivers state of health i.e medicals

This should be good enough to get you going
