Posted By Lee Thompson Morning all, I am trying to find information on a member of the public being able to access a vehicle owners personal details. As I understand it any member of the public can go into a post office, provide a registration number, pay a small fee and get access to the details of the owner of a vehicle. Can anyone point me towards further information on this subject? I have searched Google to no avail. Regards, Lee Thompson

Posted By Martin Gray Lee The service available through the Post Office is mentioned on the DVLA website at www.DVLA.Gov.UK it does not mention obtaining details of someone elses vehicle only yours. Other services that can be used to get information on a vehicle is through HPI this is fee based but only gives limited information. Martin
