Reading through a PUWER inspection report I came upon the following phrases, could anyone clarify the meaning in simple English for a simple Englishman?
1. If the control system fails does it fail to total safety?
2. If the power supply to the system fails does it fail to total safety?
3. Are controls fail safe?
I know I should remember this. To do with residual risk I suppose. A reminder is always useful.
Cheers
Steve

If you have a power cut while your washing machine is running, can you open the door? That's what the question means.
