Dear all,
A large company (500+) employees, we currently use one persons company car to take walking wounded to the local hospital which is 10 minutes away by car. (we usually use the same car)
It appears that we are going to go the assisted car purchase scheme which means the car will become privately owned, hence no more hospital car.
In addition, at weekends and nights, the car is off site
There are 2 minibuses on site, but again, not at weekends and nights
Questions
1) How many companies out there provide a hospital car for staff injured or ill that do not justify calling an ambulance?
2) If companies do not provide a car, what solutions do they have to deal with the cut that needs stitches or possible fracture of finger that do have to go to hospital?
Thanks in advance
Andrew

We had an agreement with a local taxi firm. The casualty would be transported to the hospital accompanied by a firest aider.
