could any one enlighten me with this product.
i have the M.S.D.S. and it does not list any S phrases or R phrases, and i am told by the company wishing to spray this product onto steel that it is water based & completly safe, but i have my doubts.
it is an intumecent (fire retardant ) coating
my concerns are the wearing of appropriate PPE & RPE by the operatives.
thanks in advance for any replies.

Is this an instance of the CHIP Regs failing due to customer pressure? Is this one of many instances whereby an MSDS is produced due to customer demand when the product is not dangerous?

Can't find any 707 but have found Nullifire System S607. I suggest you call the manufacturer:
CARBOLINE EUROPE LIMITED

Tel. 024 7685 5000
Best of luck!

Allan - have seen this in use (a while back) and the operatives did use face visors and disposable overalls - not RPE, probably to prevent splash onto skin and into eyes. If I remember right - the container did have the "irritant" labelling.
I'll check my records to see if I've still got the information.
Regards
Sylvia
