Posted By Heather Aston Brian If you mean that you need a safety data sheet so that you can do a COSHH assessment, then your first port of call is your supplier, who is obliged by law to provide said document. It's a bit hard to just give you an assessment for the material without having the faintest idea what you're using it for and how. COSHH assessments should be based around the process, not simply around the material. Heather

Posted By brian mills Many thanks Heather! I am onto the MSDS was just hoping that if somebody had done the ground work I could utilise their work. My company use Sypol for Coshh but I am unable to contact them at the moment! regards Brian

Posted By Dave Wilson Why use them you should do this yourself, however the HSE www have an interactive site called COSHH Essentials if you have the SDS then it will do a simple assessment for you. So anyone else out there use it its free, easy and really very good for non complex items but once you get used to it it will even do those for you!!
