Posted By Nigel Hammond Here are some quiz questions I came up with; 1. Does the skull and crossbones symbol on a chemical product mean: a. Pirates are coming b. The chemical is irritant c. The chemical is toxic 2. COSHH covers chemical agents. What else does it cover. Is it; a. Physical agents b. Biological agents c. Secret agents 3. Which of these causes occupational asthma; a. Latex Gloves b. Flour dust c. Wood Dust (Trick question, they all do!) 4. If you want to poison people with nasty chlorine gas, you need to mix bleach with; a. Milton b. Detergent c. Water (The answer is detergent - it's not Milton because that contains the same chemical as bleach! Any other ideas out there? I always try and make my questions funny or trick questions if they are for a panel quiz. (Well funny at least to my sad sense of humour!)

Posted By Mark Talbot It might be light-hearted, but I think giving directions for gassing people might go against the spirit of IOSH ... suggest you avoid that question Paul.

Posted By Ron Hunter Your 'quiz' could be built around the desired learning outcomes from the course? You could include recognition of CHIP symbols, ask what WEL , MSDS, LEV, ppm, mg/Kg, Ld50 etc. stand for, what are the 16 mandatory sections of a MSDS (or add a few red herrings in an extended list and ask that they be identified?). Humour is good in presentation, but I'd try to keep the quiz as a serious test of knowledge gained. (OK, OK, it could be 'open book'!)
