Posted By jason telford our company is looking to include urine tests in all forklift truck drivers medicals this is were might hit a couple of problems of staff refusing to give a sample so from this could anyone let me know if there is any legal guidance or other help out there to help make a decision

Posted By Martin Mulholland Jason, Implementing a Substance Misuse Policy is not stragihtforward. You can contact Mike Atkinson at www.grendonstar.co.uk for advice/asssitance. They have been implementing Policies for the last ten years. Hope this helps. Martin

Posted By jason telford well the company say they are only going to test for diabetes? but thats not saying they wouldn't test for drugs or alcohol
