Posted By Lesley Hi I am currently writing a dissertation regarding work related violence in the education sector. Does anyone have any policies/guidance that I could perhaps take a look at? Is anyone that is currently working in the education sector able to point me in the direction of any statistics, other than the HSE/British Crime Survey figures? Any advice offered is much appreciated. Thankyou Lesley

Posted By Andy Perchard You may also find it useful to visit the Violence at Work (UK) web site. http://www.violenceatwork.co.uk Check out the section headed "Everyone should know this" and select "The situation is critical". There is a link on that page to the problems being experienced in the Education sector. And, there's a lot of useful info on the BullyOnline web site. http://www.bullyonline.org Good Luck, Andy

Posted By Gilly Margrave The HSC Education Service Advisory Committee put out some guidance a few years ago. Don't know if it's still in print but the ISBN was 0717612937. Gilly
