Posted By Seth Pierce I'm planning to change the format of our H,S&E Management meeting to a series of Powerpoint slides. If anyone else uses this format could you please provide me with some examples. There are two main reasons for this change, (1) To improve the 'flow' of the meeting (2) To assist in hitting paper usage reduction targets, as stated in our ISO14001 Environmental Objectives and Targets. Best Regards Seth

Posted By Merv Newman Seth, don't have a PP of my own but most of the people I go to now do it that way. My preferred meeting format is : * The senior site manager is chairman. * A selection of departmental managers are members * Each manager has responsibility for the smooth running of one area of HSE. (PPE, Training etc) Meeting starts with HSE person reporting site statistics (note : HSE person does not keep the minutes, nor organise the meetings. Next round is departmental managers reporting in incidents in their areas of responsibility, and what they are doing about it (following advice from HSE person) Final round is HSE person informing group of forthcoming legislation etc Meeting closes with a few motivational words from chairman. Chairman is responsable for circulating minutes and organising the next meeting.
