Posted By Allan St.John Holt Does anyone else get calls from double glazing salespeople who start their conversation with "If you were going to replace your windows, how many would that be?" and "I'm not selling anything, just doing a survey"? Just wondering if this sounds familiar.... Allan

Posted By Bev Good point Allan!!! Paul - I'll tell you what's wrong - any of this pre-fabricated software is never fully applicable to how you want to use it. I always make my own up. Suitable, sufficient, personalised, free!! And you can add to it at no extra cost and little effort as and when required! I'm quite happy with my double glazing too! This brings me onto one of my bugbears!! Dear fellow professionals, here's my tips on getting rid of cold callers trying to sell windows or wall coverings for your homes etc: Tell them you live in a conservation area and you would never get permission! If you have an old property, tell them it's listed and you'd never get permission either! They never know any better and it has worked for me every time!!
