Is it any wonder that Jeremy Clarkson takes the P*** out of our profession, he shouldn't as we can do it perfectly well ourselves!!! Who are these idiots!!!

Perfectly reasonable Chris.
I often put things in my mouth when I'm trying to read them don't you?
Indeed there's nothing quite like a tasty bit of serviette sandwich or fried napkin. I can easily see how people over 60 in particular might mistake them for food and try to eat them.
I think this kind of thing just goes to demonstrate how valuable health and safety is in the community. Choking on napkins is in the top ten most serious risks in all our factories - I just don't think people take risk assessment seriously enough sometimes.
Jolly well done to the people who used their valuable time to thwart the forces of the crazy risk-taking meals on wheels people.
Where will it all end?

Great!
What about the knife and fork? You could do some real damage with them!
And I would have thought that swallowing a plate would need to be covered, after all you're more likely to be injured attempting that than by attempting to eat a paper napkin.

Perhap the warning shoukld be printed on the plates themselves to encourage the persons eating the meals to eat all their greens!!
Or maybe their paper plates..... where's that risk assessment form.....

Should every risk assessment and method statement carry a printed warning : "do not attempt to read this document. May cause indigestion/heart burn/cardiac arrest/stroke in senior management"

I would have thought the food was more hazardous than the napkins.
The napkins probably have more flavour and so are preferable to the food; therein lies the crux of the problem.
