Posted By Bev Richard, The contents of the risk assessment will depend on what her job currently is. If your query is that you're not sure what (if any) her limitations may be, I'm sure I've seen something somewhere on the HSE website. Generally, take into account: Manual Handling - does she need to carry/move etc heavy items. Work at Height - Due to extra lubrication of the joints during pregnancy, some women become more prone to falls, and also some women become light headed at times (usually early pregnancy). Heat - the bigger you get, the hotter you feel. If she works in an already hot environment (eg kitchens), she may need extra breaks and drinks. Lone working - I would not be happy with anyone in late stages of pregnancy working alone. Vibration - Pregnant women should not be subjected to extreme vibration. Fatigue - especially if she does a physical job. Women usually feel very tired in the first and third trimester. Richard, this is all off the top of my head, I may have ommitted something, but hopefully this will help you to get started. Do have a look on the HSE site though.
