Posted By Jason McQueen Does anyone know where I can find a brief overview of the key points of the Regs. The regs are 90 pages and the ACOP is over 200 which to be honest I have no need to read. I have no sources of radiation at work and the info is for my NEBOSH course. So as you can appreciate, I havent really the time to read all the regs when I dont directly need to. Oh, and the info really needs to be free and online as I need it today really. Thanks

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Jason The best summary I have seen is a comparison with the 1985 Regs. Follow this link: http://www.hse.gov.uk/lau/lacs/42-4.htm Paul

Posted By Richie Jason, A good potted summary of the Ionising Radiation Regs (2& a bit pages) can be found in IOSHs own publication - Principles of Health and Safety at Work (Allan St John Holt), ISBN 09013 5730 8. At £30 it is invaluable reading as a potted source of information at NEBOSH Cert level, and also a good Revision document prior to the exam... Alot of libraries are starting to stock it in their reference section too... Richie
