Posted By Al Beevers Hi, I've been advised by my occupational health advisor that an engineer has problems with this feet. He needs to wear safety shoes, and I'm trying to find an EN 345 pair that is a lightweight as possible, and have heard of models made with plastic, not steel toe caps. Has anyone heard of these and could point me in the direction of the manufacturer?

Posted By Di Mason Hello Al I think the supplier you are looking for is Jallatte, don't have a number but you should find them easily enuff on the web. Their toe caps are glass fibre or resin or something Enjoy Di

Posted By Melanie Black I had the same situation arise. I sourced a pair of safety boots from Arco which were actually lighter than the trainers the guy had been wearing. The product code is 6F8800, and I think they were around £35. Happy Hunting, Mel.
