Legin or Nigel

When answering the NEBOSH questions you have to take great care of what they are asking and be specific in the way you answer.

If they want a list then that’s all you give them, no more no less, if they want a sketch then give them one, with labels for an extra point maybe! etc etc

The following acronym DEGILOS assisted me for my exam – many moons ago.

D- ESCRIBE (tell the reader about what they are asking)
E- XPLAIN (as above but with more detail)
G- IVE (a request for examples)
I- ??????????????????? CANT THINK
L-IST (only a list is required – list more than they ask for and in order of priority)
O-OUTLINE (not so much detail required as the first 2)
S-SKETCH (draw and add labels identifying key points)

Hope this helps.

Regards
