Hi

Does anyone have or could anyone point me to where i could find some basic line drawings of different types of fume extraction booths such as laminar flow, half and full enclosure systems.

The simpler the better

Thanks

There are some diagrams in HSG37 but the best book is the Industrial Ventilation manual from ACGIH in USA.

Try http://www.coshh-essentials.org.uk/

They have several control guidance sheets which have some basic drawings (not necessarily line drawings though)which may be useful.

You may need to work a couple of examples ie Handling acids before you get access to the guidance notes. Only used the site a couple of times so not 100% on what you can do. Didnt save the pdf files either so cant sent you them.

Control guidance sheets 100,200,201,203 and 300 may be of use - there may also be more

Hope this helps
