Nearly upon us!
Couple of questions!
1. With Special Waste Regs 96 going after 16th July and with it s62 Special Waste Transfer Notes, how are the lanfill / waste site to be notified of a delivery and what it is, quantities etc? still duty to consign and keep records. Told by EA to make my own!!!!
2. Has anyone notified EA and recieved a 'premises code'
3. Do Asbestos removal contractors need to 'notify' EA ? getting conflicting reports.
£300 fixed penalty after 16th July for non notification or removal from non notified site!

Not sure of the exact details of everything you require, but there is a link for the ESG website with more detail. You will get conflicting reports from EA and SEPA as they don't always work in a coordinated fashion and it often depends on the inspector/office that you talk to.
The ESG has links with the CIWM and I can assure you that they don't know all the details yet, even with just a few weeks left. Not ideal or terribly helpful but typical of the introduction of new and fairly complex legislation.
