Has anyone got a letter of engagement for a safety practitioner taking on a new contract as a self-employed safety consultant to crib off please?

How disappointing, I thought you were accepting a proposal of marriage in a very formal written manner.

Not quite sure what you mean, but we ensure that there is a signed contract with every client. In it, apart from the commercial clauses and description of the project, we promise to do our professional best. But we DO NOT promise any kind of result.
There is also a clause confirming that we and our employees are and shall remain independant of the client company. You will certainly need that as the inland revenue has been trying to turn independant consultants into employees of their clients. Try to make sure that you always have at least two clients and/or that you spend less than 50% of your working life with one client.
Which can be difficult when you are starting out.

IOSH provided me with a specimen contract. Tried to email it but couldn't. Drop me a line and I'll send it to you.
Regards
