Posted By lisa anne holmes Guys I need to deliver a 15 minute presentation to school teachers on construction health and safety. Does anyone have anything they have used in the past? I am looking for something quite basic which covers only the key aspects. Any help would be greatfully received.

Posted By ken mosley Lisa, The HSE produced a 15 minute video called "Game Over". We use it conjunction with talks to school kids, but it can easily be used in presentations to teachers. It is quite good, we often lend it to schools to allow the teachers to use in their own presentations. Ken

Posted By Robert K Lewis Lisa Quite surprised that LO'R don't already have such an animal as they have done this thing so often in the past. As Ken says the HSE video is good but you don't give us a clear idea of the aim of this 15 mins. If it is to be done prior to work at the premises then you will need to concentrate very much on the primary risks and communication with contractor issues. A 15 minute site bites type presentation to the children is also too short. If this is your ultimate intent I personally think it better to secure an area and set up some common risks for the children to hazard spot. Typically this could include bottles of liquid, ladders, stacks of bricks, sand heaps with timber sticking out etc. Let your mind float free on this. Bob
