Posted By kenny mowat The GE 700 Dictates that the use of ladders on construction sites should conform to BS 1129-Wooden and BS 2037 Aluminium. Does any one know of a supplier who can meet these specifications for the wooden ladders?

Posted By Chris Pope Talk to LFI : they make one of the lighter versions of the new steel ladders that have all but replaced the wooden pole ladders that once dominated access to scaffolding. Alloy ladders are not too good for heavy duty construction work, they get easily damaged.
