Posted By Doug OShea Can anyone help to resolve a couple of questions I have about the eligibility requirements needed to deliver the following ento units Unit D : Review health and safety procedures in the workplace Unit G: Conducting an assessment of risk in the workplace Unit F: Investigate and evaluate incidents and complaints in the workplace. All of these units are delivered at level 3 I currently hold a Nebosh general certificate and have my D32 and D33 qualifications and I currently deliver health and safety training certificates with CIEH. In addition to my technical certificates I worked for four and a half years for a national training provider vetting employers premises before training commenced and continous monitoring of the placement. I have tried to resolve the question of eligibility to deliver this qualification with both the National training organisation and City and Guilds but to no satisfaction as usual with large organisations you tend to go around the houses unless you have a contact name. Any help would be appreciated

Posted By Linda Crossland-Clarke Hi I would presume you have to have a qualification at least on par with or above the level you are wanting to deliver. E.g hold the level 4 (or equivalent) if you wish to deliver the level 3 - or part of it. Your experience would be the decider in this instance. I would say you should be able to deliver this. ENTO are developing a core H&S unit, which demonstrates competence in reviewing H&S for placement providers. I understand that this is currently in a draft format, though persons doing the job (you have done in the past) would need it as a minimum H&S qualification. Not sure if all that was any help to you at all! Regards Linda
