Posted By gburgess We are going to employ two Traffic Wardens or Parking Controllers as they are sometimes known. We are presently looking at a training package for when they start and I have been asked to consider the health and safety elements. Has anyone been involved in this area of training before? and if so could they offer any advice? Look forward to your responses. Greg

Posted By Frank Hallett Good evening Greg Judging from your email address, this is not a commercial set-up; but more info about the situations in which the Traffic Wardens will work would help us to focus upon the most important issues. However, high on your list of training needs should be "minimising conflict" and "safe person" strategies. They will also almost certainly fall within the definition of Lone Workers. The list is actually quite long and I would suggest that you contact a couple of the reputable employers in this area to see how they manage the problems - if they do at all! Frank Hallett
