Posted By Peter Zimmer-Smith Thanks for reading I am looking for a career change and I would like some advice in a health and safety career plus where to pitch myself.I have been a financial adviser for twenty-three years. The last three years as an Independent. Can anybody give me advice on companies that would give training and support to help me try and break into this area Many thanks

Posted By ITK Health and Safety professionals have to be "competent" you require a mix of skills training knowledge and experience and couple that up with a professional membership such as IOSH. Start with the NEBOSH Certificate then build your way up, be warned it is very difficult getting that first break. Good Luck.
