Posted By Eef van Gestel Does anyone have any questions available that could be used for the recruitment of EHS professionals? I am thinking of case studies and specific "what would you do...?" questions.

Posted By Paul L Williams Have you considered using questions from NEBOSH examination past papers. The examiners reports give a brief summary of how the questions should be answered. An example below: "The senior management of an organisation wishes to introduce a number of new, safer, working procedures but has met with resistance from the workforce. Outline the steps that mangers could take to gain the support and commitment of staff when introducing the changes" 1. Listen to the reasons for the resistance 2. Employee consultation and involvement in the design of the new practices 3. Allocating responsibilities for H&S 4. Communication (verbal written and visible) 5. Training 6. Setting realistic and achievable targets to measure performance against 7.Doing this for employees benefit, don’t want them to get hurt etc. 8.Have to do this, prosecution, enforcement, employees duties etc. 9.Cut costs, improve profitability, safeguard jobs etc. Thanks Paul W

Posted By Hemantha Dodangoda This is all about change management techniques, he or she should be able to apply these into practical manner to get support of entire work group from top to bottom. This is a difficult task yet this has to happen to see zero harm or zero injuries in the workplace to have. So interiew questions must focus on that aspect as well. This is how I look at this. regards Hemantha
