Posted By Homer I have been tasked with giving a 1 hour chat to a work placement on health and safety. Has anyone caught a powerpoint they can send me that spells out the basics, and wont bore the poor girl to death. I am looking for something with why we do it, legal/moral/financial, some accident stats and a few hard hitting messsages. No gory pictures please. Presentaion is to be done first thing tomorrow.

Posted By Ron Hunter What about a more "dynamic" approach, talking her for a walk around the workplace and discussing the various health, safety and welfare issues, perhaps meeting and greeting colleagues as you go? This might help avoid the 'induction fatigue' common on that first day! A checklist of some sort will help you keep track - isn't there one on safetyexchange?
