Has any one any experience of wearing hi viz vests in a warehouse environment? We have found that the usual type is difficult to wear while working in a racking area and are looking for an alternative. Something that will make the workers stand out but will not restrict movement.
We have vehicle movement in the area so we need to provide something suitable.

You have a whole range of options, long vests, short vests, sweat shirts, T shirts or polo shirts or boiler suits.
I have found in the past that workers, particularly in warmer environments or on hot working activities prefer to wear the T-shirts or polo shirts, which was acceptable providing the class of protection met the work activity.

One problem I've noticed though is the limited number of times you can wash the clothing without it loosing its' hi- vizability(?)

Have you thought of using hi-vis overalls. We have trialled these and many staff now use them.
