Posted By Graham Leech I have not found any thread relating to this topic. For the construction health and safety professional, the consultation is important. Time closes 29th july 2005... have you made any commnets to HSE? What are your real concerns? Should designers be also responsible for health and safety in use as well as construction (building, maintenace and demolition/refurbishment)? Does the client need a 'friend' to advise of health and safety management? What are you thinking ?

Posted By John Beadle I have been reading and contributing to the HSE consultation on the HSE web site. Surely discussions on this site will only duplicate what as been a very healthy discussion forum.

Posted By Graham Leech John - thanks for being there!. Maybe everyone is busy reading and preparing to respond. Let us hope it is not a case of leaving the responses to 'a.n.other.' I wonder how many people realise this consultation is also about the CHSW regs - and how they will be removed/incorporated in CDM. Personally, I do not think the proposed CDM/CHSW Regs are the change the industry needs. So let's view the HSE web-site and see how things develop.
