Does any one know of any guideline values or merits in monitoring HAV and WBV in motor vehicles for people such as reps or others who may be travelling for 8 hrs a day. Also for other vehicles like fork lift trucks. Looking at doing our own, but do not know if it will be worth wile i.e. if the exposure is likely to any where near guideline limits.
I know this is going to vary on make, model, tyres, road surface, speed etc... but generally, motor vehicles HAV / WBV exposure monitoring, has any one done or considered this.
Many thanks

Guidance is available from the HSE in INDG242 (Rev1) Control of Whole Body Vibration. It doesn't give information on things like Reps cars, because the risk is percieved as being very low, but it does apply to forklifts and other mobile plant, lorries etc.
