Help!
I am looking to make our corporate induction day fun and interactive and would like to know if anyone out there has a introduction/induction H&S video or DVD that they use or know about that could fit into our new day?

Hi Phill
We use the fire drill part of the Fawlty Towers episode 'The Germans', which illustrates how not to do it!

No Videos, but I have a number of Health and Safety related pop up books. My favourite is the manual handling one where you open the how not to do it page and the guy lifting the box collapses when it’s fully open. I’ve got quite a few titles if anyone’s interested.

Hi Phil
Whilst cannot always make the HS sessions fully interactive have incorporated some "fun" into standard presentations
Visit this for some humerous downloads www.essentialskillz.com
the 7 steps to safety management is one of the clearest I have seen in many years.
Dio not have humerous vidoes as such but the ones we use are up to date and snappy as opposed to the old flares, sideburns and boredom from years ago.
For an offcie environement the FPA provide a good one at very reasonable price (£100), styled along a news bulletin presentation
There is also an electronic boardgame that does allow for full interactivity and covers many areas of HS. Complete with claps and boos for right and wrong answers.

My favourite, which always has them howling with laughter is "Forklift truck driver Klaus".
Do a "google" and you should find a free download.
