Posted By rjohn.t For various construction courses and I am trying to find toys or models of an MEWP, Crane, Digger etc. I know I could use Bob the Builder toys, but I was hoping I could get slightly more sensible or grown up versions. Can anyone recommend a webiste or shop where we could buy these toys?

Posted By Cr8r My youngest daughter has had toy diggers and a crane. Think she's smashed them up by now though. They came variously from Tesco, Woolworths, ToysRus and were the good quality metal ones that look real. I have never ever seen a toy MEWP! Have you tried ebay, they seem to have everything and a lot of it's new stuff.

Posted By Lisa Fowlie You could try: http://www.myfirstyears.co.uk/siku.asp? they have a good range of Britains / Bruder / etc models. Some of them are quite good...and authentic replicas. Happy 'playing' Regards Lisa.

Posted By George Wedgwood I remembered a stand at the recent Hillhead Quarry exhibition selling models and found their website - try this as I think this will be the best you will get; http://www.miniature-construction-world.co.uk/ Lisa, some of these would keep kids amused for days!!
