Posted By Stephen Woods Our insurers have strongly recommended that we get WBV assessments for out plant, FLT drivers and HAVs assessments on our air powered tools. Can anyone give me a ball park figure for costs, per measurement per day or however they're structured. I do know how long a piece of string is as I've got one in front of me next to my ruler. Steve

Posted By Richard Whitehead We have recently used local specialists for testing vibrating hand tools. They charged just over £600 for the day (half a day testing the tooling and then half a day writing the report).

Posted By Ian Clay1 i know of companies who will do vibration testing of machinery for half that cost. My company being one, but as this should not be a forum to plug business i will not elaborate unless requested to do so. My company as yet do not do WBV testing though. Hope this helps. Ian
