hi all, i am currently designing health and safety pack for a small construction company,,under 5 employees, and i have the following things i am going to include.
• Basic Health and Safety policy.
• System of visual risk assessments, and specific risk assessments (as simple as possible).
• Basic coshh assessment form to be completed for each substance likely to be used.
• A site induction checklist.
• A method statement generic form.
•
can any think of anymore i may need to include

PPE, PUWER, LOLER? Workplace (Welfare arrangements) Excavations, Undergorund utility location, overhead line avoidance, Electrical Equipment selection use and maintenance etc etc.
I know you said you wanted to keep it short (and simple) - but construction works generally are not 'simple' - there are many potential high risk activities - one of the biggest problems in the industry is that there a lot of small businesses out there who do not appreciate the range of potential hazards, do not take adequate precautions, and kill/injure people as a result....
