Ok, I need you, and your colleagues and their friends and probably anyone you even want to be a friend with to give me a hand!
The pilot surveys done and I am now ready to unleash my (very small, takes less than five minutes) questionnaire onto the world.
So, if you have a post graduate qualification, or are doing one now or even dreaming of one for the future - I want you!
Dead simple, I’m looking at why you did it, where you did it and who paid for it.
If you want to help, e-mail me direct or reply to the thread and I will send you the questionnaire.
I'm particularly interested in hearing from anyone who is studying somewhere other than Portsmouth as well as it appears the whole world is on a distance learning course at present.
Many thanks in anticipation of a full in box of help
James

Why?
Cause first you have to get the knowledge then you have the power then you get the money then you get the women! I DID have an intrest in it to start off with it but didn't realiase how much is more bureaucracy rather that trying to prevent people from being injured. I seem to spend most time making the paperwork look good to impress Inspectors and trying to not impact operations.
My employer paid for it and made me sign on blood that i would stay for two years after (surely that's a H&S issue in its self
Im at Caley PTime Half day and night

I did Nottingham Trent at South Tyneside. Paid for it myself as my employer was uninterested and packed in work to do it. Why? Radical career change which has proved successful.

Did my BA at the open university from 1970 (it's first year) to 1976. THEN got promoted from 1st line supervisor to safety manager. Employer (Du Pont) paid all fees and books. Plus extra leave for summer schools.
Don't care what people say, they are not ALL bad.
